Kingston  – On June 8, 2013, Easter Seals Ontario welcomed a brand new event to Kingston, the Access Storage Auction!

Over 100 visitors participated in bidding for their favourite storage locker, finding hidden treasures, new and old! $2725 was raised at this first time event as our auctioneer Big G from Kix 93.5 encouraged guests to participate! 9 year old Easter Seals Ambassador Keirra MacLeod spoke on behalf of Easter Seals Ontario about her experiences at Camp Woodeden, her excitement to attend Camp Merrywood this summer, and she also sang her beautifully written song, “Limited Edition Me” found at http://youtu.be/cBdSWymUxxg.

All funds raised from the Access Storage Auction will support children and youth with physical disabilities. Thanks to its generous donors and partners, Easter Seals continues to offer programs to allow kids to experience freedom, independence and a sense of accomplishment.

Easter Seals helps by providing financial assistance for mobility equipment, communication devices and summer camp opportunities at its two properties, Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden.
