1000 Islands Parkway Recreational Path Gets Funding For Reconstruction - VIDEO

Gananoque -  The St. Lawrence Parks Commission (SLPC) announced on Friday afternoon that it is spending nearly $1 million to re-construct and widen close to half of the 37km 1000 Islands Parkway bike path & recreational trail.

The funding is coming from both the federal and provincial governments through the Provincial-Territorial Base program and will see the re-construction and widening of 17km of the pathway from Tumbledown Road east of Gananoque to Mallorytown Landing.
