OPP Investigate Damage To Beckwith Arena

OPP 5Beckwith Township, On - On April 20, 2013 at approximately 8:00 am the Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the Beckwith Arena on the 9th Line of Beckwith due to damage done to the exterior of the building overnight.

Perth - For this May 15 meeting, the society will welcome Rideau Canal expert, Ken Watson, with the story of how the system, with our Tay Canal, came to achieve the prestigious designation of UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Youth Charged With Sexual Interference

SF POLICESmiths Falls - On the 20th of April 2013 it is alleged that police began investigating the 14 year old accused in relation to inappropriate touching for sexual purposes. It is alleged that in April 2013 the accused was playing in his backyard with the 5 year old victim. During this time the accused pulled his pants down and touched the victim in a sexual manner.

Man Makes Threats While Carrying Rifle

SF POLICESmiths Falls - On the 22nd of April 2013 it is alleged that the accused confronted utility workers over wood chips and dust on his vehicle and property. The accused left after the brief argument, but returned shortly afterwards carrying a rifle. The accused made threats while holding the rifle across his chest and the workers left the area. Police later found the accused in the vehicle with the rifle and ammunition.
